WHAT TO EXPECT WHEN YOU HIRE US
INITIAL CONSULTATION
When you contact our office for the first time, we will ask you specific questions and discuss the details of your immigration matter. Based on the information that you provide us, we will advise and present you with different options regarding your immigration needs.
If you chose to proceed, we will ask you to sign a Service Agreement which is a legal contract, and ask you to pay consultation fees as described in the Service Agreement. We will then open your file and start working on your application.
DOCUMENTS REQUEST AND INSTRUCTIONS
Within one week of signing the Service Agreement, we will send you specific immigration forms that you need to complete along with a list of required documents.
Once you have completed the forms and collected all required documents, you will send them back to our office.
REVIEW
Once we have received all your documentation and forms we will review them for completion and accuracy. We will advise you of any deficiency.
SUBMISSION LETTER
THIS IS THE MOST IMPORTANT PART OF YOUR APPLICATION. It is a legal document that advocates for your case. It contains complete details of your case and the legal basis of your application. The success of your application – especially in complex matters -depends on this letter.
FINAL REVIEW AND APPLICATION SUBMISSION
When the documents, immigration forms, and the submission letter are finalized, we will meet with you (or email you) to review the entire application, obtain your signatures, collect the payments (application and professional fees) and submit on your behalf your application to appropriate visa/immigration office.
Once the application has been submitted we will provide you with a confirmation number along with the approximate processing time.
We will regularly follow the progress of your application with immigration officials to ensure that your application is being handled properly. We will submit requests for updates to the immigration processing office if your application takes longer than usual to be finalized.
Once your application has been approved, we will advise you and provide you with further instructions.
CLOSING YOUR FILE
Once we have finalized your case, we will proceed to close your file and return all the original documents that you provided us; however, we have a legal obligation to maintain your records for a period of 10 years before destroying them.
